Sept 14 through Sept 20

sunday-

Seth and I went to stake conference at the Marriott Center. I'm so glad that Heavenly Father has a plan for us to get a spiritual boost each Sunday, because I can feel it. It just recharges me, helps me to get motivated, and strengthens my testimony. We were able to see the apostles Richard G. Scott and Russell M. Nelson speak! It was awesome, and it was packed. What we saw broadcasted for many other stakes to watch for their stake conference.

Later on, we had a family dinner at Michelle and Jeremy's. We decided to do  Sunday dinner together each week. She made delicious crock pot pork for burritos :)

monday-

Family Home Evening was the highlight for today. We decided to find something to create and share on Facebook. I used an article of faith and Seth used The Family: A Proclamation to the World. We're so grateful to be sealed together forever! It's the greatest blessing. Seth is an amazing husband and I am so lucky. Not everyone gets told that they're beautiful and that someone loves them every day, but he always tells me and is so patient with me. 💖

We had biscuits and gravy for dinner! Such a simple and delicious meal and we had scrambled eggs on the side. How I did it is just brown a pound of pork sausage in a pan, and leave the grease in there. Add milk, some flour to make it a gravy consistency, salt and pepper, and it's done! In the meantime, just cook a can of the flaky buttermilk biscuits and your dinner is finished.

After dinner, we made banana bread to deliver to some people. Here's the recipe I have and always will use. It's perfect every time!

tuesday-

Tuesday was exhausting. After work and school, Seth and I opened our own shared bank accounts (yay!), then we delivered the goodies. Baked potatoes for dinner :)

wednesday-

Here's what we had for dinner. It's worth making it.

Italian Chicken with Cream Sauce

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Envelope Italian dressing mix
1/2 cup water
Package soft cream cheese
Can cream of chicken soup
Mushrooms
Fettuccine

Place chicken in crock pot. Cover with mix and water. Cook on low for about 3 hours.

Beat cream cheese and soup. Add to crockpot with mushrooms. Cook about one hour longer.

Serve with cooked fettuccine.

(From the Pilch family cookbook :) I don't know where before that)

Late that night, Seth and I went for a walk around the temple grounds. We love the temple and the spirit that it brings. It's so beautiful there :)

thursday-

almost Friday.
French dip sandwiches.

friday-

Friday I started a sub job for a teacher that will last about a week and a half. It's only half day and it was so nice to have a lazy afternoon. I did my nails and watched Gossip Girl, and waited for Seth to get home ;)

After awhile, he was back and Friday is date night, so we decided to walk around downtown. We looked at shops and held hands and it was fun :) Seth wrote a wish on the giant chalkboard wall.

There were a couple ladies we saw- one in particular- that looked like a stepford wife. It was seriously so creepy. Then we went to Green Panda for a Boba Slush- peach mango. It was so delicious! And they serve it with a big straw and the pieces of Boba come up. It was our first one ever. I loved it. We didn't stay for dinner there because Bajios was screaming for us. We wanted chimichangas! Then we went home and had a movie night on the fouton. Also, I dropped my phone in the toilet! :( It worked for a couple days, but not anymore :(

saturday-

Seth and I got up early to help clean the church, then went to Kneaders for unlimited French toast on cinnamon roll bread. It was so delicious; thank you Sarah and Devin for a gift card! We took some home and ate it Sunday morning too!!

We got back and cleaned up the house, then relaxed for a while and got ready. I got to talk to Jessie on the phone, then we went to the Halloween store in Orem! I LOVE Halloween. And Seth is so fun to hang out with. But we still don't know what we want to be. Maybe we will just stick with "Cat and Horse." Haha!

We got some decorations and continued in our journey. We went and made a stop in American Fork, then went to Gardner Village. It reminded me of when Mom used to take us :) Mom if you're reading this and ever want to go this year, I would love to meet you there!! Anyways, we walked around and looked at witches and cute stuff, and danced upstairs in the furniture store. It was so fun.

We love pumpkins.

Here's another option for Halloween!

My phone could only take selfies- the other side wouldn't work of the camera. I was trying to get a picture of the yarn! Argh! We also tried the caramel and a piece of taffy ... Yum!

When we got home, I started some pizza dough to make homemade pizza. We put tomatoes, artichokes, white ragu, chicken, and mozzarella on it. The crust was very thin (because of expired yeast probably), but it turned out delicious! We also make some cheesy buttery breadsticks, and realized that the 3rd season of NEW GIRL is on Netflix! So Of course we had to watch some, it's so funny.

Seth wasn't feeling well today :( I felt so bad. We relaxed and then watched Ever After. We like movies :)
